Tree Removal
Trees may need to be removed for several reasons. A tree may be dead, diseased or dying, or perhaps new construction or landscaping requires removal.

Favreau Forestry uses various techniques for tree removal. Brian Favreau will meet with you and discuss the most effective technique based on the tree size, where it is located, what is around it, etc. We use rigging (cables, pulleys, etc), our boom trucks, crane, good old-fashion climbing and hand cutting, or a combination of methods. Sometimes, if in a clear unobstructed area, we can fall the tree in basically a single action, saving time and expense.

Favreau Forestry includes cleanup with all of our work including tree removal. Not because we love to do it, but our clients often underestimate the amount of material on a large tree and are seldom equipped to handle or dispose of it. We remove branches, leaves and/or needles that remain when logs and firewood are removed.

Hazardous Tree Removal
Favreau Forestry specializes and thrives on the challenge of hazardous tree removal in any setting.   With our experience and aerial equipment we make even the toughest hazardous tree removals look easy.  Although hazardous trees are our specialty, hindersome trees make up the majority of the problems and can't go overlooked.

Stump Grinding/Removal
Stump grinding and removal is a straightforward process. A high-powered stump grinder, about 3 ft. wide is brought into literally grind down the stump, 8-12 inches below the ground level (sometimes lower, depending on what will be done in the area.) We are careful to avoid underground pipes, cables, sprinklers systems and structures.

Stumps are tripping hazards and are difficult to mow around. Stump removal improves the aesthetic quality of your yard and allows for replanting of the area.

Favreau Forestry generally recommends not only the removal of the stump but the visible root system as well. Above ground roots are more than just unsightly, they are frequently the culprits of cracked foundations, sidewalks, and driveways, and damaged underground pipes. Older homes are especially prone to tree root damage, as fine root hairs probe for moisture, find the wet clay-based sewer drainage lines, and work at the joints to break apart pipes.

Tree removal, reduction, and/or pruning generally require an on-site visit to establish a tree service quote.

Storm Cleanup
Residential/Commercial - Favreau Forestry is fully equipped and staffed to assist in the removal of storm debris. Our team will arrive on site and begin working to minimize your property damage. We have many years experience in helping home owners and business owners recover from unexpected events and storm damage. We provide detailed proposals and invoices to ease the reimbursement process with insurance companies.

Municipalities/Town/State - Favreau Forestry is experienced in handling large volumes of wood material fast and efficiently. Our primary method would be mechanical to decrease cleanup time and to reduce the danger to the men pulling the tension twisted piles of brush and trees. We will utilize crews of bucket trucks, chippers and/or self loading log trucks depending on your needs. We provide detailed proposals and invoices to ease the reimbursement process with insurance companies, state and federal government. Brian Favreau will be your point of contact and ease an already hectic time.

Roadside Maintenance
Favreau Forestry will perform flail mower vegetation maintenance, and poison ivy suppression, etc. We will keep your towns roadsides and shoulders looking neat and well maintained.

Chipping
Favreau Forestry processes small-diameter wood and biomass, providing an option beyond piling and burning your brush. We are proud of the quality of chip we produce. Our chips can be used as mulch, play yard surfaces or composting with grass clippings.

Land Clearing / Logging
Brian Favreau will meet with you to walk the site and discuss your requirements. We have the earth-moving equipment, manpower and experience to handle any sized job clearing trees, stumps, logs, rocks, boulders, and/or general debris.

Whether you want to leave certain trees in place, slope or sculpt the terrain into new areas, or have the whole lot leveled and graded, we will perform the work 100% to your specifications.
